PSIONICS >> In the universe there are six Infinity Stones that manage the order of the universe. One such stone is the Mind stone. This stone found its way into the scepter of the god Loki, and then finally into the hands of a terrorist organization known as HYDRA. After radicalizing Wanda and her twin brother Pietro’s hatred of Stark and America, HYDRA convinced the twins to allow themselves to exposure to the scepter for experimentation purposes. The twins survived exposure, thus surviving prolonged interactions with the Mind stone. These interactions left Wanda and Pietro with special abilities, making them enhanced people.
For Wanda, her abilities were that of psionics. ( note: it is later revealed that these abilities were likely inherent to Wanda already, and simply amplified by the Mind stone instead. this suggests why Wanda and her brother were the only two survivors of experimentation. ) Wanda’s psionic abilities include a physical component in the form of telekinesis and a mental one in the form of telepathy.
SCARLET WITCH >> Unknown to Wanda previously, Wanda is not simply a psionic user whose abilities came from the Mind stone. Revealed by Agatha, Wanda is a witch and always has been. The Mind stone simply enhanced her natural abilities. As a witch, Wanda not only has the above abilities, but also the ability to cast spells. Currently, many of Wanda’s spells are done intuitively. She simply desires, and the spell manifests somehow. This tends to have its drawbacks, however, as Wanda’s spells can have gaps or errors in them that make them imperfect due to her lack of knowledge in that she was even performing spells and how spells naturally work.
Not only is Wanda a witch, though. Wanda is a prophesied witch known as the Scarlet Witch. Little is yet known about the Scarlet Witch, but it is revealed it is a witch of great power due to her chaos magic capabilities. This implies how Wanda is able to work so many spells with so little knowledge, as her magic is naturally wild and chaotic. While knowledge would not hinder her abilities, it is not always necessary in her situation. Ultimately, this kind of magic is dangerous. Agatha refers to Wanda as the Harbinger of Chaos, implying that Wanda will one day bring destruction through her magic.
In the meantime, Wanda has shown the following capabilities due to her magic:
SKILLS >> Outside of her abilities and magic, Wanda has natural skills she has come by through either natural talents or training and hard work. These include:
INVENTORY:
1. Spell book
2. An outfit change
3. Her favorite mug

CHARACTER NAME: Wanda Maximoff
AGE: 29
CANON: MCU
CANON POINT: End of Wandavision - when she's in her own little shack making tea
BACKGROUND/HISTORY:
Wanda lost her parents at a young age. Sokovia was never a country of easy living, but the fighting found her family and took both her parents. Unknown to her, it was a probability spell that spared her and her brother from the missile that wrecked her home detonating and killing them as well.
Due to this incident, Wanda and her twin brother Pietro grew up full of anger and outrage at a society that could do this. Finding easily manipulated kids to experiment on, Hydra took the twins in. Through interaction with the Mind Sceptre, both twins gained incredible abilities that allowed them to challenged even the Avengers. After the Hydra base was discovered and taken out, the twins teamed up with the ai program Ultron to undo what Tony Stark had done. Unbeknownst to them, it involved killing massive amounts of people to wipe out humanity. The twins switched sides, aiding the Avengers, but in the process Pietro was lost fighting Ultron. Wanda tore out the machine heart of the robot in her grief.
Training under the Avengers, Wanda remained with the team. However, her powers of telepathy and telekinesis were difficult to control. The young woman ended up creating an international incident when her powers did not dispose of a bomb safely enough and Wakandans were killed in the blast. Wanda was put on a sort of house arrest, watched by another of Tony Stark's ai's in physical form, Jarvis now known as Vision. The incident divided the Avengers on two sides of autonomy for people like them, with Wanda siding with Captain America. She was imprisoned eventually for her choices, but was later broken out.
When Thanos came for the infinity stones, Vision was targeted for the mind stone inside him. Wanda fought to protect Vision, whom she had begun to date privately, but was overwhelmed. In Wakanda, Wanda tried to aid Vision in getting his mind remade without the mind stone. However, Thanos came too soon and Wanda was forced to kill Vision and destroy his stone. Only to have Thanos rewind the event and take the stone in front of her anyway.
Snapped away by Thanos, Wanda resurfaced to help fight Thanos and ultimately defeat him with the rest of the Avengers. However, she had lost more people she loved and became a little lost herself. Wanda mistakenly overtook the town of Westview, rewriting reality and putting people under her control with telepathy. SWORD came to help break Wanda's hold on the town, but a witch known as Agatha forced Wanda deeper and deeper. It was revealed that Wanda is the Scarlet Witch, not just powered by the stone as a child but a witch who was amplified by the stone and her trials. Wanda defeated Agatha and set free Westview, losing the life she had created with her husbands and sons she had made during her time there.
Now Wanda resides in a cottage alone, learning how more about magic and her power.
PERSONALITY:
Wanda, at her core, wants to do good. Vengeance ruled her heart in the past, and that same vengeance drove her to nearly destroying the world. She had a hand in great destruction, and its haunted her ever since. The knowledge of how misguided she was directs her future, leading her to want to be a better person.
Her mistakes weigh the heaviest on her, however. In that way, Wanda must learn to control her fear. Wanda learns to let go of the fear of those around her. She understands that people will always fear her, and she has no control over that. It teaches her to control the things she can and let go of the things she cannot. That does not mean, though, that Wanda doesn’t feel the weight of her mistakes. Simply that she uses these to strengthen her future with the help of friends.
Unfortunately, this way of thinking takes a turn for the worst.
Racked with survivor’s guilt, Wanda tends to push herself to limits when she suffers a personal loss. Such as allowing herself to be experimented on after becoming radicalized by HYDRA after the loss of her parents. Or pushing herself to her limits as a hero after the loss of Pietro. And after the loss of Vision, Wanda makes her biggest mishaps yet. Despite her problems, however, Wanda always comes back to her core desire: to help people.
Wanda’s determination to set the world as she sees fit is powerful. Wanda is nothing if not determined when her mind is set to a goal. She can rarely be stopped, and sometimes can be brought to anger by those who try to stop her. While typically Wanda has a level head. However, if her goals clash with those of others, she can become angered and lash out. She still never intends to hurt others, but she will push them away in any way she can find that is safe.
Wanda is not impervious to being reached. It can be easy, or sometimes it can take a lot of effort. When she realizes what she’s doing can be harmful to others, Wanda will learn. Ultimately, Wanda is always learning and adapting. Her powers are of a level she isn’t sure how to cope with, but that doesn’t mean she’ll let them get out of control. She may need a boost in the right direction, but she is always open to change.
When it comes down to it, Wanda is a good sort of person. She’s a person full of vibrancy and kindness. A desire to help the world and to see those in it as happy as she is. When all is well in her life, Wanda smiles freely and lets herself go just as much. These moments are rare, and mostly only occur in her false reality, however they reveal the her that would exist without loss. A quirky, happy, and helpful woman just looking to see the world as a better place.
SUITABILITY:
Wanda is trained for this kind of shit. But really, she's a superhero. She's handled the worst that can happen to a person and to society. She can take a little more, and it'll help to give her a focus on something she can do to help. Without breaking the world in the same breath.

In the meantime, Wanda has shown the following capabilities due to her magic:
SPELLCRAFT : Wanda is shown to be able to cast a number of spells. Two important, but more minor spells, include a protection spell and a probability spell.
REALITY MANIPULATION : There are a large number of spells that happen here, which is what draws Agatha’s attention in the first place. At its core, however, Wanda has the ability to manipulate the reality around her. This allows her to, in conjunction with her mental manipulation, to alter a town into behaving and looking like a whole new reality. This reality moves through decades at a quick pace stylistically, while everyone remains as they are age-wise. The reality imitates a sitcom show, showing just how far Wanda’s manipulation can reach. Some of the following show how her reality manipulation works all together to create these new realities: transmutation, conjuration, electricity spells, fire spells, temporal, etc.
MAGICAL ENERGY ABSORPTION : In her battle with Agatha, Wanda learns how to harness the energy from Agatha when fighting. When Agatha throws energy at Wanda, she can take it and absorb it in order to amplify her own abilities.
ASTRAL PROJECTION : Shown at the end of the series, Wanda is able to move about freely while she projects her Scarlet Witch self in midair studying spellcraft. Wanda seems to have control over both versions of herself, and is able to multitask while doing this.
SKILLS >> Outside of her abilities and magic, Wanda has natural skills she has come by through either natural talents or training and hard work. These include:
COMBAT : Wanda is trained for combat both lingo relating to combat and training in hand to hand fighting. Wanda is shown to be a capable fighter.
SURVEILLANCE : Avengers training also included teaching Wanda how to perform surveillance and reconnaissance. This includes what to look for, how to relay information, and how to use this information. She has a passing capability with this skill.
GUITARIST : Having spent a lot of time alone in the Avengers base, Wanda is shown to have an acoustic guitar in her bedroom that she likely practices with.
BILINGUAL : Wanda can speak her native language, Sokovian, as well was fluent English.
COOKING : Used to making her own meals, Wanda has the ability to cook a decent dinner either by hand or with the aid of her powers.
INVENTORY:
1. Spell book
2. An outfit change
3. Her favorite mug
